Change of Name Deeds: Morrison Spowart Solicitors can advise you on the legal requirements in respect of changing your name. We charge a fixed fee for Change of Name Deeds based on the type of deed required (there are different rules if changing a child’s name for example). Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

Statutory Declarations: Statutory Declarations are required in a variety of situations to support applications or to declare the truth of the information you are providing. We can assist you in drafting the appropriate personal Statutory Declaration for your purposes. We charge a fixed fee for the preparation of Statutory Declarations based on the background information and the type of declaration required. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

Oaths: If you have a document which needs to be sworn/signed in front of a solicitor we can do this for you. The fee for this service is £5.00 per document and £2.00 per exhibit. This is a drop-in service available at any time during our opening hours- you do not need to make an appointment for this service.

 

Certified copies: There may be times when you require certified copies of important documents, meaning that the document is photocopied and signed by a solicitor to certify that it is a true copy of the original. The fee for this service is £5.00 per first copy and £2.00 per additional copy. This is a drop-in service available at any time during our opening hours- you do not need to make an appointment for this service.
